I've never linked the idea of an one skill only person. I challenge myself everyday from now and then to learn new things. A trained mind is a healthy mind. As a profession, I am an architect. Well, architect, but with a little twist. I've learned on my own a little bit of programming (python and future C#,C++); enrolled as an PhD candidate (work in progress), but not in architecture field as you will probably think, but in engineering (I want to create new technologies so for that I have/had to learn also structural engineering, hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, etc.); I worked as an topography technician, architect, researcher, urban planner; I've been student representative, vice-president in an students association, educational department coordinator in another, member in another (all at once); proposed legislative modification to the European Commission regarding road safety, historical building protection; Sent proposals to Romanian Academy and Heritage Institute for digital projects and as a result, started on my own ruinsandmonuments.com (work in progress), etc. etc. As a new challenge future products to be launched for interior design; Games studio; and many more to come. Working at a single project at a time was never my strong suit. As a general guidance: Go global or go home. As a professional guidance: More with less. Let's get in touch. |
